Rishi Sunak has announced major changes to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) in England and Northern Ireland.  The Chancellor of the Exchequer will temporarily extend the level at which the tax is charged from £125,000 to £500,000 with the aim of injecting confidence in the property market and driving growth.
The coronavirus pandemic has instigated several major changes in our industry.  When the Government enforced lockdown, this immediately halted all physical viewings.  Although the lockdown has eased and physical viewings are able to commence again, there are still many factors which mean not everyone is able to visit a property in person.
